What's it like?...
Officially named the Volunteer Arms, but known locally as the Canny Man, this pub has a great wine list and huge selection of malt whisky (approximately 250).
Not your ordinary pub this, but one with great character and a unique menu. The Canny Man serves mainly cold food, such as Scandinavian open sandwiches, lobster and other seafood. Its wine list includes wines imported directly by the pub as well as a good selection of fine wines from around the World.
A great place to spend a few hours over a great bottle of wine!
