What's it like?...
This wine bar enjoys a lush aspect in the heart of Finsbury Circus overlooking the bowling green. The bar itself is cosy and offers an extensive wine list of over 100 bottles specialising in those from France but also covering Italy, Spain, New Zealand and Australia.
The Pavilion company buys its wines direct from the producers in France and provides informative tasting notes alongside each entry. Customers can also purchase cases of the various wines at wholesale prices. Half bottles and Champagne are available, as is Madeira, Sherry and Port by the glass.
The atmosphere can be very buzzy, particularly between 6pm and 8pm when the nearby offices empty out, but definitely worth visiting to sample some of the delicious wines on offer.
