What's it like?...
The Cantina at Vinopolis is the perfect wine bar to visit if you are feeling adventurous and want to try some wines that you have either never tried or never even heard of before!
The fact that every wine on the list (and there are over 100 still wines plus champagnes, sparkling wines, ports and dessert wines) is available by two sizes of glass as well as by the bottle means that experimentation is encouraged. The list is organised varietally rather than by region and has a brief tasting note beside each entry. You are bound to find something that you like!
The bar area is rather small and functional and while the restaurant area is much larger, it too feels very utilitarian. Though we didn't taste the food, the menus looked interesting and appetising. If you are in the Southwark area, why not pop in and try it out.
