 Wine-mine review - September 2000
Digging up great ideas for wine lovers...
This month we reviewed a book: Wine Dynasties of Europe
This is a great read to get both an insight into pockets of the history of wine and to learn a bit more about wine regions, their wines and the characters who have helped to shape them.
Harry Eyres presents portraits of ten families whose histories in wine stretch back several decades and even centuries.
It's easy to read as it is a personal account written from interviews with today's generation of those families and proves to be very entertaining.
A good book to accompany a glass of something you fancy!
