Digging up great ideas for wine lovers...
This month we reviewed a book: The Wines of Rhône
 As one might expect from Robert Parker, this tome on the Rhône valley and its wines is a fabulous reference work. Similar to his books published on Bordeaux and Burgundy, this one lists the communes and estates, all their relevant data and his detailed tasting notes for each wine in every vintage.
Whether you are a fan of the Parker points system or not, or agree with Parker's palate, this book will provide invaluable information on the region. There are many books on the subject, but few reach the depth of detail provided on these pages. If you can afford the hefty price tag, we think it would be a good addition to the wine library.
