 Wine-mine review - December 2000
Digging up great ideas for wine lovers...
This month we reviewed a video: Wine Course
This is a two-part video set of the TV series made by Jancis Robinson in 1995. The series is structured around the major grape varieties of the World.
With beautiful cinematography, the films explore the wine growing regions from France to Australia to Chile and introduce some of the most famous winemakers in today's industry.
A book of the same title accompanies the videos but whether you read the book or watch these videos, you will not fail to be captivated by the romance of wine. Jancis Robinson has a clarity of presentation that makes even complex issues seem crystal clear.
Highly watchable and hugely instructive.
