Thought to be one of the best Chilean wines, Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon is made from eighty year old vines and aged in French oak barrels. It is named after Aurelio Montes, Chile's preeminent winemaker and consultant who has led the way in creating high quality, fruit-driven wines capable of rivalling some of the best products from traditional vine growing regions.
This is a rich and powerful wine, full of blackcurrant, menthol and green pepper with warming alcohol and a long finish. Absolutely delicious. |
