'The colour of honeycomb and tasting of nectar' is one very good way to describe this lipsmacking example of Canadian icewine. Its aroma bears the trademark kerosene of the Riesling grape amongst the freshness of stone fruit and richness of honey. The wine is sweet to the taste but has plenty of good, balanced acidity to prevent any hint of cloying. As on the nose, there is an abundance of apricot, peach, and pear together with citrus fruit and sweet spice and butterscotch in the mouth. The long finish rewards the quaffer with a lingering fullness of flavour that is completely moreish.Try with sweet desserts, especially the fruity variety, or with veined cheese. A delicious and very well made wine.
